THE EDUCATION.
Instructor Membership Program at THE HOUSE OF STORY
Our Instructor Membership Program is designed to support artists who wish to share their skills and passion through teaching. At the same time, we take care of the administrative overhead, marketing, and customer management. This program allows artists to focus on what they do best—creating and instructing—while earning revenue and building their brand within a supportive community.

Our store is dedicated to offering previously used clothing, each piece with its own unique story. We believe in the power of recycling clothing not only to benefit the environment but also to promote a more sustainable and ethical fashion industry. Recycling clothes saves significant amounts of water and energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions, and minimizes waste in landfills (Ecavo) (Scrap NYC). We believe that connection is currency and the strongest for of it. There is something to be said about getting to know the people in your community and sharing the moment. You don’t have to buy anything. Just stop and say hi. You’ll be glad you did.

We change things up quite a bit. Why? Because we like it like that. As a team of creatives, we want to push the envelope on what’s possible and improve the experience. We will bring in new things and do our best to focus on local impact in everything we do here.
WE PUT THE MONEY BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY.
Every month, we use money from the store to fund initiatives that help the community at large. Like selfunding a summer camp for those younger than us called CONFIDENCE CAMP. We live up to the title and build real confidence by connecting them with their story in our studio. Instead of subsidizing it… We aim to see if we can place each kid for a week for free.
